Role:
Head of Business Development
Funding: Series C ($112M)
Industry: Social commerce venture targeted at Tier-2, 3 cities and villages.
Location: Gurgaon
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage complete life-cycle of the entire Community Leader network
- Build a scalable GTM (online + offline) to identify potential Community Leaders from all tier-2 / below towns of India
- Design & run the screening + training process for CLs in the early stages
- Design right incentive structure(s) - for CLs at various stages of their journeys: early stage & growth stage
- Build playbook to scale a Community Leader's store from 0 to a INR 2L+ business
- Identify, build & scale ancillary services / features to enable CLs to grow their business
- Work closely with the Product team to design CL app
Skills:
- 12+ years of total experience
- Tier 1 education (non-negotiable)
- Consulting 4+ years, Internet company (preferably something with a marketplace element)
- Preferred if has GTM experience for an internet company
- Team management, strong first principles problem solving, excited about building 0-1, strategic thinkin
