BD Head for a series A funded Data and Analytics company in the Financial Services and Insurance Industry
A leading Data and Analytics company in the Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) industry is looking to hire a Business Development Head. They are trusted by the world's largest FSIs, including insurers, banks, AMCs, and NBFCs, to address their data challenges.
Experience: 15-20 years
Location: Mumbai
Must-Haves:
- Deep understanding of banking and financial services industry trends, challenges, and regulatory landscape in Mumbai.
- Proven track record of successfully selling data analytics solutions, preferably within the cloud technology space to banking & financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion within the banking and financial services industry in Mumbai.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within target organizations, leveraging existing relationships and networks.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing of deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product, and delivery to ensure alignment of business objectives and successful execution of initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market insights to inform strategic decision- making and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide input and feedback to product development teams based on market requirements and customer feedback.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sales processes, enhance customer experience, and maximize revenue potential.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong network of contacts and relationships within the industry, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and influence stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on driving business results and exceeding targets
