Head - Business Development - Cargo/Logistics Solutions

Our client is a leading conglomerate with operations in multiple sectors. They own and operate world-class projects and have attained leadership status in multiple categories. The group is expanding at a very large scale and aim to be leaders in implementing cutting edge Cargo Solutions. They are looking for Head - Business Development (Cargo & Logistics ) to be based in Mumbai with following KRAs but not limited to this:

1. To work with SVP & Head - Cargo in arriving at the annual business plan, budget and achievement of same.

2. Strategic/Business development of Cargo Hub & Gateway - (International & Domestic).

3. Develop new projects for business expansions: Successfully plan, analyze, develop and execute a full-fledged and dedicated end-to-end Cargo Terminal for new categories of Pharma and Perishable cargo.

4. Expansion of international express business.

5. Development of Road Feeder Service from the Catchment area.

6. Business Development (Direct Sales and Hub Development): Focus Area: Airline Development.

7. To work & expand product reach to complete trade as Cargo HUB: Airlines, Freight Forwarders & Users.

8. To promote Cargo operations, Attract new airline, freighter carriers, Develop new routes & network planning with the airlines, hub and spoke model cargo operations.

9. Identify opportunities to attract growth in cargo operations & enhance by building new infrastructure as products (international & domestic), services and enhance existing product & service lines.

10. Process & Automation Development at Cargo Terminals ecosystem.

11. MIS & Data Development, Annual Cargo Budget Preparation & Maintenance.

12. Relationship & Stakeholder Management, Trade meetings & Government regulatory bodies' relationship management and process developments.

13. The incumbent should have at least 15 years of experience in Air Cargo and Air Freighting.
