We are looking for a professional with experience in business development in B2B businesses, preferably in the services business. The person would have complete responsibility and authority over the business development function and he/she would enjoy a fair degree of autonomy over his scope of work.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Identification of relevant markets and positioning of the companies brand and services
- Identifying and finalizing deals with network partners
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for functional and geographic growth
- Overall responsibility for the Company's annual budget and targets
Business Development:
- Meeting potential clients, pitching the companies services, following up with clients and closing deals
- Finalizing scope of work, costing, pricing and commercial terms for client engagement
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients
Outbound Marketing:
- Ideating lead generation channels, overseeing lead generation activities
- Networking at conferences, events etc.
- Identifying and finalizing promotional activities and overseeing them
Inbound Marketing:
- Overseeing and undertaking digital marketing activities including writing articles, overseeing content creation, strategizing and monitoring online ad spends, overseeing SEO activities
- Engaging with the companies PR partners for media outreach. Overall responsibility of all client
Skills & Expectations:
- Self-starter individual. Ability to take initative and drive execution of initiatives
- Good Communication Skills : oral, written as well as listening to people
- Good negotiation Skills : Ability to convince client and close a business deal
- Good writing Skills: Given a topic, ability to research and write a lucid article
- Good Analytical skills
- Keen on learning new things and gaining exposure to different aspects of business
- Having broad understanding across different industries is a bonus
