KRA :
- To lead the overall Business Development activity within the Sales & Marketing function for Forging Division by developing the USP for the organization and implementing the business development strategy.
- To actively scout for and engage in new business development opportunities
- Develop the short term and long term Business Growth strategy as per the business vision and execution.
- Identify opportunities for new Business Development in Global Geography focusing on NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) Region
- Develop a competitive pricing strategy in consultation with the respective Department heads to ensure fulfillment of all business interests through the required liaison.
- Manage relationships with domestic and export customers, for Business Development Strategy, review the S&M targets vs. Actual for all the regions and suggest corrective measures.
- Identify business opportunities and implement the required strategy through active involvement.
- Ensure customer order acquisition / realization through effective price proposals and negotiation process.
- Support effective sales planning & forecasting in coordination with department heads for respective business basis market and customer insights and proactively plan for future delivery orders.
- Participating in the budgeting exercises and provides inputs on Sales & marketing annual costs.
- Identify New Product segments and new geographies considering the existing capacity of Operations.
- Drive capability and development of high potential talent within the Business Development team.
- Ensure timely goal setting, performance review, feedback and development of subordinates in the team.
