The position is with Payment Services and they are looking for - Head - Business Development & Account Management- Financial Services & Inclusion (Institutional Clients)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead overall Sales & Business development strategy for Enterprise clients. Devise annual operating plan for the respective accounts including sales forecasting and track key account metrics, generate revenues (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts etc.)

- Identify and forge critical partnerships with Corporate, Govt. Depts, Ministries, Municipal Corporations, Service Aggregators, NGOs amongst others that are relevant for alternate channel business

- Devise annual operating plan for the respective accounts including sales forecasting and track key account metrics, generate revenues (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts etc.)

- Set the strategic direction for the account portfolio responsible for, including the development & retention of existing business & new business opportunities

- Identify new sales opportunities within existing relationships to expand share of wallet.

- Implement best practices to meet partner needs and requirements. Lead on ground execution of client mandates in close partnership with client teams and product/operations for turnkey mandates.

- Build & design payment products & other services based on thorough research of the market needs across different verticals.

- Should manage end to end relationships which starting from client prospecting to commercial closures, documentations, integrations, roll out of services and monitoring performance.

- Analyse, prioritize and document customer requirements. Help in developing the core positioning and messaging for the product suite. Assist in implementing the product strategy & roadmap for the payment products, CMS and value added services.

Conceptualise a seamless user experience to ensure better product off take. After product rollout, constantly monitor relevant metrics to evaluate user experience and make relevant improvements.

Additional Responsibility:

- Manage a direct team of Regional Heads (Direct) & sales teams within the hierarchy (indirect team management).

- Conduct market research & competition benchmarking to identify business opportunities.

- Drive identified Initiatives for the FI Business to achieve the overall sales objectives, identify & effectively implement major and key initiatives in the areas of market development, distribution expansion & sales operation

- End to end P&L ownership with core focus on CSP services such as MATM/AEPS/DMT/CMS amongst other products introduced through the distribution channel.

- MUST HAVE - Strong grip and access to talent pool for business set-up and expansion with highest priority to compliance, business integrity and profitability.

- Track business metrics, business performance and take corrective actions to achieve targeted sales and business volume.

- To execute the campaigns for increasing terminal usage/activation/sourcing through the team.

- Work closely with partners, distributors and sales team to understand specific requirements and/or needs and build sales strategy and product development plans for target segment.

- Monitor CSP transactions & volume, oversee and coordinate audit of CSP networks, relevant MIS reports to formulate appropriate agent productivity & retention strategies.

- Ensure timely recruitment and retention of S&D team, define and track KPIs for PMS including career planning & development of key employees

- Should have flair for numbers and can deliver the assigned business targets of individuals and team. Forecast potential sales and revenue targets effectively from new and existing markets and maximize sales

QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- 10-15 years of experience in payments domain and channel led sales & services.

- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager or relevant role.

- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.

- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.

- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to ascertain key business drivers and relate these to product design and solutions proposed.

- Willingness to roll up the sleeves to get tasks done and work in an ambiguous start-up environment

- Good negotiation skills with consultative sales experience, proven ability to handle corporate BC business and customers.
