Hiring for US based top IT company

Job Description :

- Bachelors / Master's degree in Quantitative disciplines like Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics or similar

- Around 15+ years rich exposure to various aspects of data management, integration, data preprocessing etc. along with consultative role to highlight data inadequacy issues.

- Fluency with statistical theory and application, including econometrics, various machine learning techniques i.e., regression analyses, as well as multivariate statistics such as cluster analysis, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, latent variable models or structural equation modeling, segmentation or classification techniques and algorithms, such as decision trees like CHAID, CART etc.

- Very good conceptual acumen in training and testing various machine learning algorithms with deep understanding of statistical model validation techniques

- Hands-on end-to-end statistical model building experience on at least one of the tools like SAS /R/Rapid Miner/Matlab/Any other

- Good hands on project experience on digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, Spring Metrics etc.

- Good in programming /coding experience and fluent with techniques of debugging such programs

- Deep hands-on experience working in R environment is big plus

- Exposure to Big data tools like Hadoop, Hive, Mahout, Map Reduce desirable

- Superior problem-solving mindset and skills absolutely essential

- Power Point, Excel and data visualization experience necessary

- Enthusiasm for technology a plus

- Experience in documenting Business Process

Personal Skills :

- Very good communication skills - written & verbal, with an ability to present technical contents with ease various types of business stakeholders

- Conceptual thinking with the ability to discover patterns in multiple, large and seemingly unconnected data points and turn them into actionable, business-critical insights

- High motivation and self-starter abilities with a strong sense of accountability and dedication to excellence, balancing responsiveness to diverse requests from many stakeholders, as well as proactive initiation of and action on new projects and initiatives

- Excellent collaboration skills, as well as credibility and commitment to building trust and developing relationships among various team members]
