The role includes both identifying revenue-generating opportunities for Biotech products, as well as building new key client relationships, in line with Biotech product’s overarching Mission and Vision.
Strategic Planning
- To define and develop the long-term strategic goals for Business Development, in line with Biotech Product’s overall strategic context.
- Preparing entry strategy and marketing plans for Biosimilars in regulated and semi-regulated markets, which requires clear understanding of regulatory, IP and competitor landscape.
Financial/Business Planning and Budgeting
- To analyze the progress of revenue-generation goals and make recommendations for adjustments/interventions as required
- Preparation of proposals, commercial negotiations and finalization of partnership or supply agreement with international clients.
Sales, Marketing and Business Development
- To identify potential partners (Big pharma or genric) and progressing partnership discussions for Bio similar products for co-development or out-licensing in regulated and semi regulated markets.
Client Relationship Management
- One-point contact between international clients and the internal teams during due diligence, project planning, regulatory filings, designing of pre-clinical and clinical programs and launch of Biosimilars in the targeted markets.
- Techno-commercial evaluation and negotiations for high value services, which are out-sourced to third parties.
Project Management
- Managing a team of program managers for tracking internal development projects from R&D to commercialization.
- New product selection and pipeline management, which includes in-licensing of projects.
- Generation of Senior Management reports.
