Our client is the largest Pharmaceutical packaging in the world, having presence in over 100 countries.
Position offered: Head-Sales B2B (India)
Position based: Mumbai
Reporting to: VP-Sales (International)
Reportees: Sales & BD team (Pan India)
Job Purpose:
- The position will lead a team of Sales & Business Developmental personnel on Pan India basis. And will be responsible for all aspects of managing, motivating and coaching the team, analyze customer needs and evolve solutions, setup and execute a sales & business development activity plan, achieve agreed KPIs and sales and business development target, generate and release monthly MIS and rolling sales forecast in order to achieve the commercial objectives and maintain effective relationship with customers.
Requirements:
- About 15 years of Sales & Business Development experience in Industrial Consumables’
- B2B segment [preferably a vendor to pharmaceutical industry i.e., Excipient / Pharma
- Ingredient / API / Specialty Chemicals / Packaging films], of which at least 7 years
- Should be at National / Zonal level managing team.
Educational level & General experience
- B.Pharm. / B.E. (Chemical / Mechanical) / B.Sc. (Chem. / Micro)
- M.B.A. / M.M.S. / PGDM (Marketing)
Technical knowledge / competencies
- Language skills: Proficiency in English & Hindi.
- Product knowledge (optional)
- Flair for understanding of relevant technologies and innovation
- Sound knowledge of sales & marketing practices
