Head of Media Sales (AVP)  The Job involves anchoring all the digital media sales for the company across all regions. This involves actively pitching to brands and presenting them with creative brand solutions.   - Needs to have and be able to drive lots of contacts in the industry. Needs to know and quickly get connected with all major media buying agencies to be able to liason with them on a daily basis.   - Owns revenue targets and pushes for them actively. Should be comfortable with owning growth numbers of 20-50% MoM. Will be needed to push internal stakeholders in the company on new inventory, solutions etc. to grow the business.   - Will need to be able to straddle sales of large bundled offerings and along with traditional digital campaigns. Needs to also anchor all media operations ensure 100% inventory utilization.  - Needs to own the month on month revenues generated from the Media sales as a channel. Needs to be able to sell various propositions to media houses and partners.   - Travel is a fun proposition and our brand occupies an interesting space with the consumer as a travel brand. Hence the need is for a creative person who can think up and sell solutions to media houses and partners. Will have to go beyond just looking at traffic based visibility deals. The need is to create multipliers through interesting solutions   - Champions ad-space, properties and campaigns internally to help drive revenue further.   - Create discipline in inventory utilization in regular - run the business- campaigns.   - Ensure strict discipline in collections and a healthy cash flow   Experience & Qualifications :   - 7 to 12 years   - MBA preferred   Skill Set :   - Sound sales and operations knowledge and experience in the digital domain (Including Mobile)   - Creative bend for brand solutions   - Excellent communication Skills   - Good presentation & planning skills - ability to derive & forecast annual plans for review.   - Understanding of the Online Industry Customer Relationship Management and Negotiation Skills   - Good Analytical skills for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.   - Focus and ability to achieve competitive revenue targets   - Ability to prioritize competing demands, Willingness to travel Flair for taking up responsibilities independently.   - Display of Clear leadership skills in the field.   - Ability to lead a team of regional sales people   - Sales super star who is creative, has gravitas and ability to convince counterparts   - Has contacts in the media industry owing to past experience. Should have complete understanding of the media buying cycles and how to pitch within those.   - Passion for travel   - Self driven and aggressive with desire to push for exponential growth   - Desire to work in the fast paced and demanding world of startups
