Position Summary and Impact :

The Associate Director is responsible for offshore Asset Management operations as a whole including service delivery strategy and multiple Asset Management operations teams therein. The role has oversight of various types of transactions, controls, operational and people management responsibilities with varying complexity and ensures business goals and standards are met. The incumbent of this position will play a critical role in the conceptualization, continuation and delivery of E2E initiatives and continuous improvement efforts/ projects. The role will have input to policy, transformation and risk management for the organization in India and in many cases the wider Asset Management organization within the firm

Functional Leadership Responsibilities :

- Lead multiple teams across Asset Management functions to ensure stragic, service delivery, client and regulatory goals and standards are met and exceeded

- Build trust through collaboration with internal partners such as onshore Business and Operations stakeholders, Technology, Quality Control and Compliance

- Serve as an advocate for clients and facilitate optimal client centric decisions in the development and delivery of products, services

- Create synergies to establish fungible, scalable teams that are agile between processes

- Identify and drive continuous improvement and efficiency for operational processes and deliver capacity/financial saves for the organization.

- Implement a robust risk dentification and control implementation framework enabled by a risk and compliance aware culture

- Monitor financial, process, client service, compliance and people performance metrics and deploy effective actions to address trends where applicable.

- Effectively communicate linkages between company mission, vision, corporate strategies, and business area specific initiatives.

- Align resources to mission critical initiatives

- Establish a high performance culture through effective knowledge sharing and management, retention of talent and living the company Values

People Leadership Responsibilities :

- Build an environment where openly communicating, engaging, motivating are integral to managing people

- Provide regular performance feedback, encourage a learning culture

Job Requirements And Qualifications :

Required Education: Post Graduate / Graduate in Business, finance or related discipline

Preferred Education: Post Graduate

Required Experience:

- 12 to 18 years

- Asset Management/Investment Banking Operations in an offshore captive environment, Client Service, Leadership
