Head - Architecture - Residential

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Architect to lead the design and construction of our residential project. The Head Architect will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from conceptualization to completion, and will work closely with other stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality residential structures.

Responsibilities -

- Design and Conceptualization: Lead the design and conceptualization process for the residential project, including developing initial sketches, creating 3D models, and preparing architectural plans that adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

- Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

- Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure smooth coordination and integration of architectural design with other project elements, such as structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

- Construction Supervision: Provide on-site supervision during the construction phase to ensure that the project is executed as per the approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. Address and resolve any construction-related issues that may arise.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of architects and designers, providing guidance, feedback, and direction to ensure that the team is motivated, engaged, and delivering high-quality work.

- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, providing design solutions, and managing their expectations throughout the project.

- Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to residential architecture. Incorporate innovative design ideas and sustainable design principles into the project, as appropriate.

Requirements:

- Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in residential architecture, including experience in a leadership or management role.

- Professional Certification: Registered Architect with a valid license to practice architecture in the relevant jurisdiction.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes related to residential projects.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively guide and mentor a team of architects and designers.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex design concepts to clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

- Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address design and construction-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.

- Creativity and Innovation: Ability to think creatively and innovatively, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Familiarity with sustainable design principles and experience in incorporating them into residential projects
