Position - Head of R&D - API,
Industry- Pharmaceutical (API)
Location - Mumbai
Reports to - President / Chief Scientific Officer
Responsibilities
This is a techno commercial role.
- Individual will lead a team of chemists from R&D, Technology Transfer & Projects.
- Individual should have experience in Process Development, with experience in producing cost-effective, non-infringing, safe and eco-friendly technologies for the synthesis of reliable APIs and intermediates.
- To develop and produce cost-effective, non-infringing, safe and eco-friendly technologies for the synthesis of reliable APIs and intermediates.
- To ensure easy communication & movement between resources between departments like R&D, QA and technology transfer
- Excellent understanding of product mix & portfolio management
- Optimizing and emphasizing the organization's commercial product portfolios
- Individual must have good understanding of the market and recommend appropriate strategy & business plan
Education & Experience
- PhD - Organic Chemistry with around 20+ years of experience in reputed Pharmaceutical API Companies.
