Head - Analytics Training - Startup - IIT/NIT/ISI

Job Title: Head of Analytics Training

Location: Gurgaon

Company Information: We are a startup with twin companies in the analytics training and analytics products space. This role is for the training company, which is focused on industry specific high-end analytics corporate training (e.g. retail analytics, financial services analytics, etc.). Our founder is a highly ambitious IIT and Kellogg alumnus with experience in management consulting and private equity

Responsibilities:

- Content development for analytics training materials, assignments, pitch books and web/video content

- Training corporate and retail clients - training would include statistics, analytics techniques (regression, predictive modeling, factor/cluster/cross-tab analyses, etc.), industry specific analytics applications, and statistical tools (e.g. SAS or R)

- Business development - pitching to corporate clients and/or affiliates/potential partners

- Marketing for retail customers - digital, print and other forms

- Represent the company at select analytics conferences and author whitepapers/articles in prominent magazines

- Eventually the role would evolve from an analytics instructor to setting up and leading analytics training teams across the country (including 3-4 cities)

- Based on performance, candidate would potentially be groomed to be the CEO of the analytics training company or alternatively, recruited into a leadership position in the analytics product business (based on candidate's interest)

- Compensation is not a constraint for the right candidate. Performance-based stock options will be offered in addition to salary

The position will require high flexibility to travel across India

Qualifications: We seek to hire young passionate and energetic go-getters

To qualify, candidates must possess:

- B.Tech from reputed engineering college (IITs/NITs/top US schools) or statistics/economics undergraduate degrees from reputed institutes (ISI/LSE/other global schools)

- MBA/MS degrees are a plus but not required

- At least 3-5 years of experience at analytics training companies, analytics services companies (e.g. ZS Associates, MuSigma) or analytics captive centers (e.g. banking captives)

- Sound understanding of statistical and analytical techniques, and at least one statistical tool (SAS, SPSS, R or Stata)

- Highly confident and excellent interpersonal skills - ability to pitch to and train corporate clients

- Go-getter and independent attitude with an entrepreneurial passion
