Company Profile: We have a vacancy as Head-Analytics for leading Financial Services org. based at Worli. Our clients are a highly successful, fast growing, professionally managed FinTech organisation. The organisation is very well funded by some of the World's most prestigious PE firms, has over 10 branches in India, book size of over Rs.1000 crores and headcount of over 600#. The position reports to the Director-Finance. The organisation is a non-deposit taking FinTech organisation registered with RBI. They are engaged in a highly profitable niche segment of lending business targeting small and medium sized retailers who find it difficult to get financed by traditional financial institutions. The loan offering is quite unique in terms of its parameters such as monetisation of future cash flows from payment cards swiped on Point-of-Sale terminal, flexibility in repayment, and partnership spirit.

It is a one-of-the-kind offering and has created a separate industry in the country. They have developed a specialised technology platform to cater to our special product. They also have CIBIL membership and access to consumer as well as commercial credit data. The company is driven by innovation, technology and entrepreneurial spirit in each sphere.

The company has developed a business framework which not only encompasses traditional lending segments but also has a strong customer relationship program. The development of this framework has led to engagement programs which have been customised for merchants and hence have a relation which would be independent of the loan. This is a unique feature in the product bouquet and leads to opportunities in having a very strong fee based presence in the financials.

The company operates out of its head office in Mumbai.

Job Description: The position holder will be part of the core management team and be responsible for all data analytics to sharpen the strategic thrust of the organisation. Will lead a team of analysts

Candidate Profile:

- BSc/MSc - Statistics from premier institutes OR Tier1/2 MBA with graduation in Engineering

- 8 to 18 years of experience in Analytics and BIU in NBFC /Bank /leading Analytics companies

- Background of managing projects and leading team of analysts in Retail Banking (Asset side) or NBFC retail lending preferred

- Exposure to both Analytics and BIU function preferred

Skills and Competencies

- IT Savvy and good exposure to analytics tool like R

- Preferred to be hands on with Analytics tools like SAS, SPSS

- Proficient in Predictive modelling, applying various Multivariate Analysis techniques like Linear Regression, Factor Analysis, Cluster analysis, Jacquards Analysis, Structural Equation Model, Correspondence analysis on Survey data

- Worked on Data Mining techniques like Market Basket Analysis and CHAID

- Ability in MIS and dashboard management for the Senior Management

- Exposure to BIU tools preferred

- Good business sense and ability to present key findings to the management in a succinct way

- The ability to motivate and lead a team of analytics, analyst and developer profiles

- Initiative and enthusiasm

- Good communication and 'people skills'
