The Head Analytics will be responsible for building the entire analytics team. Being an organisation centric role the person works closely with heads of the product, sales, marketing and operations department.

Job responsibilities
- Customer segmentation and demographic analysis – help product teams, marketing teams and operations team understand who the customers are.
- Forecasting customer growth and developing customer segmentations.
- Marketing analytics – helping marketing team in increasing effectiveness of marketing and retargeting campaigns.
- Guide the online customer profile information capture process and lead back-end analysis. Be accountable for overall e-marketing effectivenes
- Product analytics – play a leading role in developing products for customers along with the product manager. Identify, define, collect, and track key business metrics for new and existing products
- Online search and traffic analytics – understanding our traffic sources from google/facebook/etc – and helping improve the same. Will be responsible for performing advanced click stream data mining to identify web site gaps / areas of opportunity, and provide key data driven insights to influence strategic e-commerce decisions
- Develop and implement measurement platforms for previously mentioned responsibilities.
- Help in research activities that the company might want to undertake to improve its operations/product offerings.
- Recommend changes to existing products, policies, and processes that improve overall performance and economics.
- Analysis of inventory opportunities to target high-potential markets.
- Modeling future financial and operational performance of new products/ventures.
- Responsible for understanding the business problem from various product owners, translate it into a statistical/mathematical model or a data driven algorithm.
- Should take care of time/space complexities of models/algorithms.
- Should be able to translate the findings of the models/algorithms into actionable items for the tech/marketing teams.
