Head - Analytics - Digital Bank

Head of Analytics for Digital Bank:

- The role holder will direct a team of analysts (direct reporting) and data engineers and data scientists (dotted line reporting) to enable a data driven and intelligent digital bank.

- The mandate of the team will be to increase digital sales via data informed journey optimization, personalized customer experience and digital product value prop optimization

Job Summary/Accountability:

- Deliver personalized customer experience on the bank's digital channels via - segment of one- approach, 360 degree customer data, next best product and service algorithm design and deployment

- Drive business growth in the bank's loans, deposit and other fee products by monetizing database programs via the digital channels

- Creation and optimization of digital specific product value props through the use of data

- Enable increase in conversion rates of digital channels through data driven identification of dis-satisfiers and removal of the same and on-going journey optimization

- Partner with the engineering team to create a modern data stack needed to deliver the above business outcomes

- Drive a team of analysts, data scientists and engineers in an agile fashion towards business outcomes

Major Deliverables:

- Business Growth: Drive business growth via monetization of database programs via the digital channels and increased conversion rates through data driven journey optimization

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

1) 12+ years of relevant experience in data/ analytics/ data science roles.

2) Track record of increasing responsibility and success in leadership roles

3) Ideal candidate would have a combination of analytical, engineering and data science skills

4) Excellent communication skills. Delves into a complex problem and solves it by using data. But is able to simplify as appropriate to cut to the core issue and present findings

5) Great leadership skills. Very proactive. Interacts with other business leaders to both learn as well as influence. Partnership approach and collaborative attitude

6) Tremendous drive towards results. Ability to persist against obstacles and get things done

7) Displays great ownership of problems and results. Can do and positive attitude
