Job Purpose :
Responsible for propagating analytics driven decision making culture across the organization; Advise BU heads in analysing data, designing frameworks and extracting meaningful inferences/ insights/ trends for effective and efficient decision making
Key Accountabilities :
- Plan and implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy for the organization & lead the design and development of analytical projects
- Be an influential member of senior management; trusted and respected in the development and execution of the company strategy
- Discover new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modelling & derive and communicate key trends/ reports from the different ongoing projects to the functional teams
- Develop frameworks, predictive models, tools, and processes to ensure data influences decisions at all levels
- Partner with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform
- Work with business owners to identify information needs and develop KPI dashboards, in order to inject analytics into company strategies and important decisions; primary partners include the management team, finance & accounting, sales (corporate and field) and marketing, supply chain and operations and HR
- Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses and work with cross functional Internal stakeholders, to analyse and provide actionable recommendations & reports to the higher management
- Be confident explaining and justifying analytical concepts and decisions to both internal and external stakeholders
- Hire, train, and supervise Analytics team and ensure that the team meets the reporting and analytical needs of the business users
- Ensure that the Analytics Team deliver high quality output, on time, in budget
Functional Competencies :
- Strong Knowledge of Statistics and advanced analytics and research approaches, including: marketing mix models, price/promotion models, SEM, segmentation and forecasting, etc.
- Ability to independently manage research engagements from start to finish, delivering actionable insight within established timelines and budget
- Demonstrated ability in driving business impact through the application of data science and analytical techniques - Experience in marketing research and analytics; domain expertise in applying to FMCG issues
- Ability to interpret research findings for multiple audiences, extract insights and communicate effectively
- Strong organizational awareness and the ability to work effectively at multiple levels within an organization. Equally comfortable in discussing technical/analytical details with technical thought leaders as well as explaining technical subject matter with a non-technical audience, in particular, high-level executives

Educational Qualifications :
- Master's Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics or any quantitative domain, or MBA from a premier institute
Experience :
- 10 years of overall experience in Analytics or 7 years of experience in Management Consulting
