Head - Alternate Channel Development - FMCG

Hiring for a Head - Alternate Channel Development with one of my FMCG client.

Job location: Bangalore

Job role:

1. Ensure that top line revenue targets for the channel are being met

2. Expansion into new micro channel outlets such as schools, offices, territories and geographies in order to stay ahead of competition

3. Extracting higher business from already existing channels by focusing on customer management and engagement, schemes and loyalty programs

4. Responsible for operational, distributor and sales efficiency of the channel.

5. Responsible for identifying new national chains present across the country in different states and regions - SAY NATIONAL ALTERNATE CHANNELs/ SUBCHANNELS / BUSINESS WEB PORTALS

6. Responsible for finalizing a national deal, activating those outlets, engaging and scoping with the new clients

7. E-commerce is also another source in Alternate channel encompassing: a. Driving Brand Activations b. Developing Visibility elements for Channels by understanding Customer needs and Terms of Trade c. Closing JBP with Accounts to build Business.

8. Managing CSD Channel Operations and other Government Accounts like CPC, INCS etc.

9. People management.

8. New package development.

Required skills:

- 10+ years of experience in Trade Marketing / Key Accounts and MT Operations / Alternate channels.
