Job Title : Head of Alliances & Partnerships

Location : Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities :

Corporate :

- Lead and build a strategy for the Corporate business. Assess the landscape and form long term relationships for the corporate sector

- Own the P&L of the corporate business and build it into a defensible and profitable business.

- Manage the Corporate B2B business across the group

- Understand the needs of the customer deeply and build propositions that solve for their pain points

Business Development :

- Serve as the strategic leader with the responsibility of identifying, cultivating, strategizing, negotiating, and finalizing all key alliances and partnership; including subsequently managing communication and overall relationships with these partners.

- P&L owner for long term Alliances across the country; scope would include signing up of new partners, retention and renewal

- Defining and executing the overall business plan for growth by establishing and nurturing high impact partnerships

- Structure agreements: negotiate commercials with the above partners.

Places :

- Build a strategy for physical distribution of our products and services. Ex: Malls, Public transit points etc

- Forge relationships with stakeholders across the value chain and build synergies for multiple group businesses

- Build the places vertical into a defensible asset and fortify our SoW across those distribution/aggregation points

Experience & Skills :


- Strong deal-making experience


- Should have led multi large ticket deals end to end across industries

- Should have the presence and gravitas to represent the Key Stakeholder with CXOs and other senior executives of companies across the country

- Ability to network extensively internally and externally to cultivate relationships ahead of time

- High level of awareness and knowledge of competition, related products, services; Must be technology appreciate.

- Strong strategic thinking ability


- Should be able to analyze and evaluate new licensing and/or distribution opportunities and make recommendations to the Board

- Strong commercial orientation to identify business drivers, their value to the business, and hence the price we should be willing to pay. Should also be able to identify opportunities and risks of proposed transactions, including financial, operational and integration synergies and issues.

- Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment.

- Strong ability to influence and collaborate with other members of the senior leadership team

Qualification : Postgraduate in Management from a Premium Business School with a proven track record.
