Head - Ad Sales - (ROK)  The selected candidate will be based anywhere in Karnataka and will be responsible for delivering on revenue targets from the Geography other than Bangalore in the State. Will have to essentially lead, oversee revenue initiatives from our live editions other than Bangalore.  - Person will need to travel intensively throughout the month to all printing / edition centres with the objective of monitoring the local teams.   - Will have team heads reporting to the position person would be reporting to Head - Ad Sales  Job Description :  - Responsible for building the ad sales team and the ad sales strategy.  - Responsible for the direct advertising revenue targets for the organization.  - Design and sell various propositions to media agencies and brands straddling from large bundled offerings to traditional tactical print campaigns.  - Design internal processes around sales operations and revenue collections  Understands Print media Advertising market trends and customer needs.  - Penetrates and develops major accounts and new prospects, creates sales propositions and conducts pitches, negotiates contracts, and closes new business deals.  - Manages the market excellence/intelligence process; gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future trends, to support sales strategies.  - Adept at managing sales pipeline, forecasting revenue monthly/quarterly for the entire sales team  - Create discipline in inventory utilisation and yield maximisation  - Liaisons with internal teams to come up with new, innovative ad-solutions more effectively monetize our inventories.  Candidate Profile :  - Graduate (MBA preferred) with 12+ years of relevant industry experience in print industry business or FMCG, Telecom or within media sales.  - Knowledge of prices, margins and activities of both, own products and competition.  - Numbers-driven with strong analytical skills and experience using analytics  - Demonstrated ability to lead high performance sales teams, excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.  -Deep relationships with advertising clients and media agencies, high on initiative and ownership. Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure; persists despite obstacles and ambiguities.  - Ability to influence others and gain support from stakeholders, strong negotiator, collaborator and team player. Ability to understand customer segment specific needs and provide the best solutions.  - Client servicing and key Account Management.
