Our Client ( in the E-commerce Space) is seeking a sharp, seasoned senior leader with a demonstrated history leading organizations that exemplify analytical acumen, operational excellence, and creative innovation. He or she excels at motivating teams to produce outstanding results. The candidate will have a track record of delivering for customers independently and through collaboration with sales and product teams.
Responsibilities:
- The Candidate should Hire, lead, and mentor a team of cross-functional managers across the entire portfolio of our solutions team.
- Drive scale and operational excellence within budget across all functional teams impacting the campaign lifecycle, from pre-sales planning to creative design and delivery and reporting.
- Define and support business objectives while using executive-level judgement to balance the right tradeoffs to deliver a best-in-class advertiser and retail user experience.
- Partner with senior management within the locale and across our global footprint to discover and share successes and failures.
- Develop and lead local, regional, and global initiatives impacting organization, innovation, and efficiency.
- Define and implement changes to roles, responsibilities, processes, vendors, and product/platform improvements at scale.
- Communicate appropriately with senior management, peers, and reports to share the right levels of transparency and detail up and down the organization.
Basic Qualifications Key Skills & Experience:
- +10 years management experience in digital retail, advertising or media publishing environments that spans multiple functions, including account management, project management, ad operations, analytics, quality assurance, and creative design and production.
- Have built and developed deep client relationships at executive levels.
- Strong experience in leading operations with increasing complexity and scale.
- Have managed large, international, multi-functional teams, including leaders of leaders.
- Experience hiring world-class talent, as well as developing and coaching others to achieve their full potential.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
- Proven in designing tailored, scalable service solutions for multiple client tiers, including establishment of: service levels, team organization, workflow, KPI measurement, risk mitigation plans, stakeholder alignment, and communications plan.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to define systems for capturing and reporting operational data and using the data to drive and manage change in solutions, team readiness/profile, and platform/product capabilities.
- Comfortable delivering results using local, regional, nearshore, and offshore talent.
- Be well versed in business terms and have led master services agreement negotiations with third-party service providers and strategic deals that may have custom terms.
- Expert in industry technologies, including: ad servers, creative design programs, CMS and CRM platforms, RTB systems, workflow solutions, and cross-platform media types (e.g., video, HTML5, tablet, mobile).
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with influencing skills across senior leaders of multiple functions.
- B.A. or B.S. required. M.S. or M.B.A. preferred.
- Experience in Digital Advertising and e-commerce preferred.
- Bachelors or graduate degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
