Head - Accounts - CA - Steel Manufacturing

"The client is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of stainless steel long products in the world."

Responsibilities:

- Work with the CFO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships

- Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help establish and execute growth plans.

- Monitor banking/financing activities of the organization.

- Ensure adequate controls are installed and ensure compliance with all finance related regulatory requirements.

- Responsibility for preparing books of account, all relevant tax returns, finance related regulatory filings, various audits (internal and external)

- Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets, ensuring all are in accordance with local regulations.

- Consolidation of monthly and annual accounts

Education:

- CA qualification preferred

Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of finance experience in a manufacturing led set up.

- Experience in negotiating debt deals (short term and long term, plain vanilla as well as structured) with banks and financing organisations

- Steel industry experience preferred
