Head - Accounting - EPC - CA

Designation : Head Accountant -CA Qualified

Location : Chennai

CTC : Upto 29 L.P.A

Experience :

- 10 to 18 years in POC basis of accounting in an EPC environment,R2R, Project Accounting, IFRS and US GAAP in Petrochemical, Oil and Gas companies, Industrial, Manufacturing companies preferably .

- Taxation Direct or Indirect GST /VAT exposure is must .

- CA qualified is a mandatory.

- Other certifications in accounting and taxation are highly desirable as well.

- Immediate to 30 days max joiners preferred .

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

a) Handling day-to-day bookkeeping activities including monthly closures.

b) Preparing the financial statements in accordance with GAAP. (includes GL review, reconciliations, passing rectification entries, etc.)

c) Preparation of Tax Returns.

d) Delivering error free financials statements.

e) Involves a detailed review of books of Accounts to spot accounting errors.

f) Client relationship Management.

g) Project and team management

h) Trouble shooting in relation to - accounting, tax and accounting software's used to compile the financials.

i) Good in Project based accounting. POC basis of accounting in EPC environment .

j) Must be conversant with IFRS and US GAAP

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Looking for experienced qualified CAs with good accounting skills. Candidates should have strong analytical and good communication skills with the aptitude and attitude to make a positive impact on Company. Candidates should have the flavor to review and finalize the financial statements. High level of precision and accuracy is requiring.

- Inter-company transactions processing experience is highly desirable .

- Taxation Direct or Indirect GST /VAT exposure is must .
