Reporting Head of Operations

Will be leading the Academic team for our client.

- The prime role of the Head of Academics is to provide strong academic leadership. The Head is required to lead, manage and develop the academic team and it's departments to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities internally and externally.

Their chief responsibilities will be

- Responsibility and accountability for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the organization

- Development and sustainment of appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-making and communication with staff and students.

- Ensuring quality curriculum for all branches of ORCHIDS the International School across India

- Be the single point of contact for all departmental heads to collate and distribute thoughts regarding development of the department

- Be responsible for Talent Acquisition strategies for the departments in conjunction with the Human Resources team

- Ensure, in conjunction with the academic managers, that training and development modules are created for the planners and teachers with proper execution.

Required Candidate profile

Criteria

- 5+ years of experience in the education industry (preferably with exposure to startups)

- IIT/IIM or equivalent level of qualifications

- Has handled a team and multiple stakeholders

- Should have worked on curriculums and book creation

- Has been part of exam assessments and possesses proper understanding of the same
