HDFC Securities - Fundamental Analyst - Retail Research

Job Purpose :

- Oversee a team of Fundamental Analysts, guide them on companies to be covered, process to be followed, help in valuation, oversee/edit their word and excel files, and keep pushing them to excel at work.

- Independently study and prepare reports on large, mid and smallcap companies, to provide value added services to clients.

- Challenge of the job/problem solving : Pick trends in markets, spot companies that can provide smart returns at normal risk, be proficient with MS office, good control over grammar, be brief but effectively communicate

- Contact with others (Internal) Colleagues in Research, dealing etc & (External ) Companies researched, clients, Media etc

Education : CA/MBA from good institute with consistently good academic background

Experience : 10-12 years

Knowledge, skills and expertise required :

- Good spoken and written English, comfortable with number crunching, learnings of the way the stock market and stocks behave in different cycles, ways to value stocks, drafting skills, ability to communicate well
