Unit Head - Retail Asset Operations

Position Description Responsible for managing BB Ops/IL Ops/LAS Ops

Business Group : Retail Assets

Reporting To CPU Head- Retail Asset Operations

- To provide operational support for the entire gambit of retail asset/business banking products offered by the bank

- Manage credit administration for working capital loans which includes credit limit setup, renewals, drawing power maintenance, compliance to credit covenants, letter of acknowledgements, ROC filings etc

- Repayment management - PDC, ECS, SI

- Suspense account monitoring and reconciliation

- Monitor TAT, productivity and accuracy of processing and conducting Time and Motion study for CPU to arrive at the excess/ shortage of staff in each unit.

- Ensure all branches meet a minimum of satisfactory audit rating at all times

- Supervision of System Projects to ensure regulatory compliance, arrest operational errors / exposure, operational capability for new revenue streams / customer delight.

- Designing system architecture, developments to mitigate high rate of errors, Credit risks and business requirements for Business banking Products. Conceptualization, Intensive System design, testing and Go Live for the priorities laid down.

- NACH management for Retail Asset Loans - Automation, Process Implementation, Monitoring and Implementation involving intensive co-ordination with CMS, other banks, NPCI

- Agri Dept Schemes

- Health checks on Limit Recon exceptions and Facility Recon exceptions published and reviewed

- To constantly drive for synergy across teams and enhance the advantage of centralized processing

- Conceptualize, design and develop system controls with a view to reduce manual processes and improve operational risk control

- To strategize operational framework to ensure delivery and maintenance of quality and excellent services that will enable the bank to position itself above competition

- To focus on cost rationalization and efficiency

Knowledge and skill requirements :

- Minimum of 10-14 years of banking experience of which at-least 7 years experience in operations function of major bank / NBFC

- In-depth functional knowledge of retail asset / business banking products/Installment Loan product

- Excellent communication skills

- People management skills to manage large teams

- Inter personal skills to maintain a good rapport among other departments of the bank

- Networking skills with external relevant people to understand the macroeconomic changes

- Project management skills
