SUMMARY:
To provide a one stop shop for all business, process requirements from IT applications. This position interfaces between business, technology and IT vendors for developing IT solutions for business needs, with the following objectives;
The role manages team of Functional analysts, Technical analysts and Domain experts to handle Programmes, Projects, Enhancements, Erros ( SFRs) , Consulting needs related to systems and business areas being managed .
Key objectives are :
1. To provide technology solutions for business/operations/ requirements
2. Manage complex and key projects / enhancements
3. Monitor and review System errors and their management
4. Participate in Business and Technology Strategies and Planning to ensure both are aligned and IT applications deliver business needs.
5. Interact with technology partners to develop solutions, evaluate off the shelf technology applications and provide domain inputs in developing solutions.
6. Be Consultants to Business on impact on account of technology projects .
7. Manage Complete functional Testing for technology projects, including testing documentation for Projects, Enhancements and SFRs
8. Manage Project planning
9. Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
10. Participate in discussions and provide inputs on features, operational aspects , directions during solutioning of requirements for complex and strategic items
11. Participate in Steering Committee Meetings for large projects to update Senior Management
12. Funding approval
13. Manage / Review Liaison with DBA/OS support team and other technical team
14. Consult and guide Business for Funding Proposal Notes - Business Justifications and arrange for FPN initiation.
15. Intervention and escalation management
16. Interactions with Team Leaders/Unit Heads/ Function/ Business Heads of Operation Units, Product / Business groups etc. for Business Requirements understanding and presenting options for approaches & solutions.
17. Project Management for key /complex/large projects . Closely monitor Complex/Large / Key projects to ensure focus.
18. Review requirements documents and Functional specifications for complex and key requirements providing domain inputs.
19. Manage testing for Projects, Enhancements, SFRs , Technical projects.
20. Manage changes in Applications on account of interfaces ( viz Payment Gateways , Core Banking , Middlewares etc
21. System Error Management, review for applications under domain.
22. Review and provide inputs, alternate suggestions/solutions on process changes/implementation of new products to operations and business units.
23. Undertake prompt and conclusive action/decisions / recommendations in case of sudden system issues /operational failures/customer complaints .

25. Management of Payments , fund utilization details for reporting
26. Management of PO issuance & Payment clearance
27. Requirement Review Analysis & Solutioning and Integration- For key Projects

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS (Education, technical/ behavioral skills, Experience)
a) MCA/ MBA/ BE/ MSc/B Tech or BSc IT/Graduation with 2 years full time Diploma at NIIT or APTECH , CAIIB or similar
b) 16-20 years experience , in execution, strategic and planning across
- BFS domain areas - Corporate / Net Banking, Remittance, Payments, Epayments & Collection solutions, Workflow Solutions , Payment Gateways , Depository & Custodial Services , SWIFT , Core banking exposure
, Liabilities banking .
- Experience on engaging stakeholders viz :
- Online Security Trading Platforms
- Related Audit & Compliance, Information Sec
- Regulators and other external entities
c) Technical domain expertise across o RDBMS - Oracle, Sybase, PL/SQL o OS - Windows 2003 server, SUN Solaris Unix or any flavor of unix o Development Technologies like D2K/ JAVA/ VB / J2EE o Hardware Platforms: IBM/SUN/HP o Exposure to Project Management Tools - MS-Project Server o Cloud technologies and solutions o Agile methodologies o Project Management methodologies, SDLC (Planning, Feasibility Study, Requirements Analysis, Technical Architecture & Design, Development, Testing - UT / SIT / UAT, Implementation, Support, Documentation), Process & Quality.
