Interactions: Internal - IT/BTG/Ops/Finance ; External - Auditors/Vendors

Location: Mumbai

Role responsibilities:

- Oversight on GL opening requirement and defining accounting schema for new product / process in line with RBI / Accounting Standard requirements.

- Conduct review & keep Control / checks over Chart of Accounts.

- Process Improvement and Process Control over GL Maintenance.

- On-going review of Trial Balance and ensuring critical health checks on Trial Balance.

- Assist in system implementation, upgradation & data migration.

- Assist in Financial Reporting

Education: B.Com, Chartered Accountant

Work Experience: Working experience of at least 4-5 years in Bank or Finance Co. 

Strong Preference to Banking work experience in Finance field.

Required skill set:

- Experience in financial reporting and overview of chart of accounts.

- Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills

- Experience of Core Banking/Consolidation System implementation is preferable.

- Good working knowledge of accounting norms and MS Office.
