- Manage Merchant Alliances & Partnerships
- Drive Spends & Engagement on Credit/Debit/EMI/Payzapp through association with the POS Merchants
- Merchant Alliances - Forge partnerships/ alliances with merchants & front end discussions to onboard the best offers on Credit/Debit/EMI/Payzapp
- Ensure best offers across categories such as Travel, Shopping, Grocery, Ecommerce platform, Apparel.
- Regional Presence - Ensure offers not only with large regional players but also with regional merchants to ensure customers have offers at the best nearby outlets.
- Long Term offers with Merchants to ensure our customers get the best of offers all year long
- Short term Marketing promotions with Key Merchants to drive spends
- Negotiations with Merchants - Ensure that HDFC Bank gets the best offers amongst peer banks & also at the losouth & east cost possible
- P&L for promotional activities - Ensure generation of Incremental Spends & Income through partnerships with Merchants.
- Achieve overall growth in spends across all categories and thus overall Card spends
- Ensure promotion of Merchant Offers through multiple bank touch points such as Digital platforms, ATMs and the offers website SmartBuy
- Visibility Create visibility for our card across merchant platforms & also in OOH, Stores, Print, TVC etc. to ensure maximum mileage at no extra cost for the Bank.
- Analyze & understand customer behavior across various segments such as Demography, Credit Limits, Geography, Product Type etc.
- Marketing activities to drive spends - these activities include communication of benefits/offers to customers.
- Competition tracking - To ensure we stay ahead of competition in terms of innovations, benefits extended to customers, options available to customers etc.
- Relevant offer communication to customers while travelling abroad, to enhance customer satisfaction and give the widest range of options to customers.
- Ensure consistent growth in Domestic usage of the card.
