HDFC Bank is planning to recruit Compensation and Benefits professionals in multiple roles in the C&B team, both in Lead positions and in individual contributor roles (C&B Partner).

The Role would be responsible for managing the Rewards Agenda for the verticals of the bank under the role's purview. The key responsibilities and accountabilities would include the following:

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities (non-exhaustive):

1. Salary Benchmarking: The incumbent would be accountable for ensuring the completion of the market benchmarking for one's verticals and would include the following:

a. Draw out a detailed schedule for the benchmarking exercise ensuring participation of the entire HR community along with the various business verticals.

b. Ensure completion of the market benchmarking exercise as per agreed upon timelines

2. Job Evaluation: Play a key role in the review and facilitation of determining job size and would include the following

a. Conduct Job Evaluation for the verticals under one's charge

b. Maintain an inventory of all unique roles for the aforementioned verticals

3. Key Annual Processes: Lead the engagement for the salary review as well promotion implementation for the aforementioned verticals.

a. Role in the Salary Review Process: Have structured engagement sessions with the business on the positioning of various roles in the sub-verticals. Highlight key concerns with respect to salary positioning.

a. Role in Promotion Process: Ensure that all promotion norms for the verticals have been followed. Be an active part of all discussions and decisions pertaining to the promotion exercise of one's verticals.

4. Salary Fitments and Analysis: Responsible for monitoring all salary offers and fitments for one's verticals. The role will have the accountability exception fitment signoff.

5. Analysis and design of sales incentive plans / performance linked plans

6. Revamp of the performance management system of the bank

7. Special Projects - as an when assigned.

Candidates with prior C&B experience and from Tier I campuses would be preferred.
