Legal Manager - Dept for Special Ops

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To monitor functioning and operations of the bank and to ensure they are in accordance with compliance and as per the law.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing legal support to Head Legal - DFSO

1. Ensuring all legal notices issued under SARFAESI ACT, RDDB ACT, COMPNIES ACT, NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENT ACT and also matter related to DERIVATIVE TRANSACTIONS are dealt with appropriately

2. Ensuring all replies issued against Bank are responded appropriately

3. Ensuring and vetting all cases filed on behalf of Bank for recovery of debts dealt with legally.

4. Providing legal support to all our Recovery Managers

5. Providing Legal support to CDR

6. Providing time to time legal support to SARFAESI action initiated by Authorized Officer of Bank

7. Liasioning with Central Legal Team & Advocates

8. Suggest usage of various legal tools to locations based on feedback and opinion received from Advocates

9. MIS with respect to litigation filed against Bank

10. Updating time to time amendments with respect to various laws, latest supreme court judgments, high court judgment etc. in order to protect interest of the Bank by providing to our team and also to our legal/secretarial department
