Key Responsibilities :

- Ensure smooth functioning of the department as per laid down processes

- Devise the processes and product for Trade, LAGJ, Commodity, Bullion and Tax Operations

- Manage Correspondent banking relationship

- Support and strengthen Business and branches with Trade business

- Be in tune with market conditions and changes

- Keep control over cost by digitization of the time consuming activities

- Ensure internal as well as external compliance

- Strengthen staff knowledge and productivity

- Constantly review the processes and systems to ensure the same is in line with Bank's policies as well as

Industry practices :

- Visit to regulators like RBI, FEDAI, customs, Consultants, etc to clarify the role of an AD for Import remittance and Trade credit transactions and its reporting

- Visit to the Central Processing Units and different regions for standardization of processes, coordination with the other Businesses and ensuring the delivery of operations is monitored

- Marketing and customer on-boarding for latest product like Digital trade

- System Process re-engineering and periodic review to be conducted to ensure that we have the best practices in the market

- Keep the cost of operations under the budgeted amount. Find innovative ways and means to reduce the cost of operations within the area of control

- Ensure results are targeted, measured and presented to senior management with regards to processed cases, time saved with process re-engineering, errors (if any), etc

- Ownership for own and team's deliverables. Keeps abreast of ground realities through constant 360 degree feedback

- People Management - Ensure Job Rotations, Motivating the team, engagement & work life balance-

Pre - requisites :

- Business Unit - Wholesale Banking Operations

- Location - Metros

- Experience (Years) - 20 + years in Trade Finance Operations (Back office/Branch)

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Experience in managing large teams
