HDFC Bank - Business Analyst - API Banking

Experience - 08 - 15 years' experience in Banking domain preferably last experiences in Data Analytics, Data Marts, Customer Creation, Enterprise Customer Management, API Bank

1. Understanding of Data, Data structures, Data Cleaning and Dedupe

2. Good understanding of Customer attributes, Customer creation, Onboarding journeys, Enterprise CIF, Customer MDM etc, preferable to having implemented any of the above in the previous stints

3. Project Management in Agile, Waterfall and on collaborative tools like confluence, JIRA, PPM etc

4. Sound project management and stakeholder management practices and updates

5. Solution Design, ability to work through complex problems and arrive at multiple solutions

6. Ability to stitch requirements across stakeholders and work out approaches end to end

7. Sound understanding of implementing scalable solutions - across Data, Payments, Onboarding, Servicing

8. Sound understanding of platform architecture, system architecture, information architecture and application architecture

9. Good domain experience across liabilities, assets, cards, payments and financial industry

10. Adept at creating detailed solution documents, flow diagrams, UML, data flows and map them with functional requirements and strong presentation skills

11. Excellent communication skills - both orally and in writing, with attention to detail

12. Excellent Team player and ability to train, guide and mentor teams

13. Sound understanding of various messaging protocols including MQ

14. Determine and develop user requirements for systems to ensure maximum usability

15. Should have good understanding on API Banking platforms and practices and policies

16. Able to create approach documents relevant to architecture designs with industry best practices

17. Strong tracking of project and program milestones, regular stakeholder updates and highlight risks

18. Create, review test cases and scenarios and knowledge on automation testing

19. Raising timely alert to seniors to get right decisioning done at right time

20. Preparation of Dashboards, presentations for management updates

21. API versioning mechanisms and ways to ensure backward compatibility

22. Sound understanding of integrations and simplifying integration challenges

23. Ability to connect with people, network and collaborate

24. Work with multiple teams within the organization and outside of it, in order to drive consistency, best practices and efficient integration architecture

25. Work assignment and tracking tasks with team in alignment with management decisions

26. Cost approvals and budget approvals

27. Analysing and implementing industry best practices in line with management objectives

28. Team and vendor management

29. Understanding of micro service architecture, Open Banking, BaaS and Cloud based services and ESB solutions

30. Hands-on querying skills and in depth analytical patterns
