HCL Technologies - Specialist - Procure to Pay Process

Location:

- The P2P process specialist is the primary owner of the end-to-end Procure to pay process with the overall goal of ensuring all the invoices are paid to the vendors within the Timelines.

- The P2P specialist will be part of the transformation team and lead the efforts to transform the process by effectively leveraging the various teams involved in the process. He should have the ability to understand the big picture, manage the various stakeholders and most importantly drive the change management process at an organization level.

- The P2P Specialist should have an in-depth understanding of the Procure to Pay process which will enable the person to quickly identify issues, provide a solution which is implementable and implement the same. He should be able to identify the key metrics and provide the visibility and transparency to all relevant stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Work closely with all relevant internal and external stakeholders which include but not limited to Suppliers, Buyers, Requestors and AP teams to support ongoing activities

- Ensure all payments are integrated into Accounts Payable and processed through the system having adhered to the - Purchase to Pay- the process

- Closely work with sourcing team and effectively manage the Requisition & PO compliance process and AP Payment

- Responsible for entire P2P process and departmental functions such as PR / PO transaction processing, Invoice Processing, Payment processing

- Should drive the implementation of a global help desk to respond to queries from vendors and internal stakeholders.

- Develop and publish weekly / monthly/quarterly key performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and executive management

- Reviewing and analyzing current procedures in order to recommend and implement changes to standardize activities and integrate into shared services

- Developing the logistics system

- Lead the maintenance of a strong Controls environment

ABILITIES:

- Strong understanding of the entire procures to pay process. He should have relevant experience in driving solutions and improving the process for large corporations which operates globally in a centralized environment.

- Ability to work with various stakeholders, understand their concerns and own them to closure.

- Ability to design, develop and establish procure to pay procedures.

- Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.

- Ability to effectively direct and supervise various teams

- Ability to analyze financial data and to prepare accurate reports in a timely manner.

- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

Qualifications/Competencies:

- Working experience and knowledge of Procure to Pay Processes,

- knowledge of SAP would be preferred
