Title : Manufacturing lead consultant

Location : Chennai or Noida or Hyderabad

Job description:

- Be a part of small, growing team that is engaged in best in class manufacturing assessments and transformation

- Work with internal and external stakeholders from development to implementation of new age manufacturing strategies and solutions

- Develop innovative recommendations to address client issues based on an understanding of the client business and industry best practices

- Work collaboratively with the clients, identify improvement opportunities, author deliverables and present findings to senior management.

- Build strong relationships with client teams and key internal stakeholders

- Mentor and support junior analysts on engagements

- Lead development of propositions to assist clients in improving their manufacturing & supply chain performance

Candidate Description

- 12+ years of Manufacturing related work experience;

- Previous consulting experience in process or discrete manufacturing is highly desired.

- Project based mindset

- Demonstrated experience in key focus areas like:

- Process control & engineering

- Operations excellence, continuous improvement

- Process, Productivity, Quality or Service improvement

- Lean / Six Sigma, Kanban etc.

- MRO strategy and planning

- Spare parts planning & management

- Industry 4.0

- Experience with Manufacturing Execution (MES) applications and shop floor analytics

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Superior verbal and written communication skills.

- Prior team building & mentoring expertise

- Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with pressing deadlines and constantly changing client needs and conditions

- Prior experience in creation of assessment assets like frameworks, PoV's etc.

- Experienced with problem diagnosis, solution development, client communication, and facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing expectations, project profitability and team leadership
