Roles and Responsibility:
The exact type of work you will carry out varies according to HCL's business requirements. In general, though, tasks can include:
- Communicate with clients/ sales personnel- s/ senior leadership and understand the research objectives
- Responsible for selecting the most appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet a defined business objective
- Design, execute and manage Quantitative and Qualitative projects including, analyses, execution, report writing and presentation
- Apply and demonstrate an advanced level of understanding and knowledge of appropriate statistical applications and research design techniques in order to provide consultancy to clients
- Lead/ Manage/ Motivate and Retain a team of dynamics research managers and create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Monitor the work of staff members on projects to ensure work tasks are completed according to the project management plan for seamless timely quality work within budget
- Develop and provide expertise in target business industries to both external clients and internal teams
- Plan and propose yearly team budget and optimize spend and resource allocation
- Establish/ Identify/ Onboard and Maintain strong research partner network (across geo- s) for field studies and new syndicated report assignments
- Manage and oversee several research partners/ vendors and maintain a consistent trajectory of growth, while avoiding cost obstacles that arise from a constantly shifting market. A strong commercial acumen.
- Practice and demonstrate exemplary work ethics, self-motivation in learning and taking on new challenges to support sales for the company
- Drive deep consumer/customer understanding and maintain good relations for managing relationships to market research suppliers/partners
- Identify the need and pitch/ create pro-active research proposals for both internal and external clients
- Answer queries and resolve any issues that the stakeholder has
- Knowledge of SPSS and SAS is advantageous
- Any other tasks and projects as assigned by management
