Job Title : Solutions cluster lead - Digital and Content Services Division HCL Technologies - Business Services Detailed Description: Key Responsibilities - Reactive management of business opportunities - Will need to manage all RFI/RFPs end-to-end that come in from the sales and account management teams. This will involve a wide spectrum of upfront research and sales support activities, bid qualification activities, solution ideation, articulation and solution defence jointly with the sales and delivery organization. - Will need to manage all critical processes relating to sizing and pricing of deals in conjunction with multiple teams, and ensuring completeness and accuracy of all financial and operational inputs to protect/assure deal margins. - Will need to coordinate with multiple internal teams in order to develop a fully integrated solution/proposal. Teams typically involved will include HR, Training, Quality/Transformation, Delivery teams, IT, BCP, Legal, Finance, Transition, etc. - Work with pricing team to create a commercially viable business case for the customer - Proactive management of business opportunities - Will need to manage all proactive Proposition development initiatives, including new product/offering creation, development of corresponding collateral, etc. - Manage the entire process of internal communication and coordination with respect to such new propositions being developed. - Support, enable and facilitate target revenue achievement for new propositions. - Thought leadership - Will need to work closely on the Strategy formulation for this vertical along with senior management and with the sales organisation. - Need to work closely with the larger HCL group across various businesses (Apps, Infra, Engineering, R&amp;D, etc.) to be able to develop joint offerings, propositions; and enable the Go-To-Market for such offerings. - Define service market strategy, develop business plans, validate &amp; refine solution designs and leverage on networks &amp; build strong business development opportunities. - Reviews market competitive intelligence for a specific domain / market and provides inputs and validates gap analysis. &nbsp;Will need to demonstrate strong domain expertise in the following areas: - Media, Publishing and Entertainment: Content Management services, Ad operations, Publishing support, campaign management, creative services, Marketing Automation Services Managing Marketing support - Will need to manage the process of development of market facing collateral and content (e.g. slide-ware, brochures, website, etc.) - Manage all such activities in relation to positioning the HCL BPO brand and capability with Sourcing Advisors &amp; Research Analysts (e.g. responding to periodic surveys, presenting to RAs and SAs, etc.) &nbsp;Team management - Manage a team of between 6 - 10 solutions resources, who will be specialised in each of the industry verticals mentioned above, and who will be responsible for working and delivering to various proactive and reactive business opportunities in these verticals. - Manage the development of these resources, especially in terms of improving their domain expertise, improving articulation skills, improving their client facing skills, etc. - Work with delivery team to extract innovation and transformation delivered and create market facing collaterals - Guides the team in creating the SOW (Statement of Work), Supports the MSA (Master Service Agreement) creation with the sales team and delivery team - Demonstrable energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to paint a vision, put a story around the DCS proposition and articulate where it fits into the customer scenario Desired Skills &amp; Experience Minimum Qualifications Graduate; Post Graduate will be an added advantage Minimum Experience 10-12 Years - At least 5 years of experience in managing a Solutions/ Pre-sales/ Business development /Consulting function for the same or similar Industry verticals from a BPO perspective. - At least 5 years of experience in BPO operations in managing service delivery in an outsourcing environment - At least 4 years of experience with 10+ projects in implementing and solutioning BPO business enablers such as Analytics, Automation, Technology and Process Transformation - Ideal organisations to tap would be the Tier-1 Outsourcing providers - Ideal qualification would be a Post Graduated degree but Graduate also will be fine in the case of candidates with very strong experience fit. - Past experience in heading solution architect team and leading large-scale deals in DCS - Very good knowledge of issues faced by clients and should be capable of suggesting solutions - Very good understanding of BPO industry and trends in outsourcing - Experience in consulting a plus
