HCL - Market Research Analyst - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI

Job Description :

We are looking for a methodical Market Research analyst to study customer preferences, competitors in the market and various other factors of the environment and produce statistical analysis in order to support senior leaders and the sales team during their decision making process to establish key focus and investment areas. A successful market researcher will be able to analyse autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness.

Skill Requirement :

- 5+ years of experience in market research or related field.

- MBA from premier institutes in Marketing, Systems and IT or other related stream.

- Should be able to interface with business and sales leaders in order to provide market information and strategy based on market study and business knowledge.

- Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, R or similar). Knowledge of data science is preferable.

- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and strong business acumen.

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Strong analytical and critical thinking.

Market Research Analyst Responsibilities :

- Collecting data on consumers, competitors and market place. Consolidating this information into actionable items, reports and presentations.

- Understanding business objectives and designing reports based on research findings for the senior leaders.

- Provide competitive analysis on various companies- market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation

- Evaluate the available methodology and key data to ensure that data related to various strategy calculations are accurate and the angle of decision making is correct

- Remain fully informed on market trends, competitors- researches and implement best practices
