Role Definition:
- Business Management & Profitability
- Role is responsible for meeting the revenue and business goals for the assigned vertical of HCL Learning.
- Responsible for achieving overall targets in sales and market share based on business plan.
- Develops and implements sales strategy to achieve business objectives for products and solution business.
- Responsible for generating revenue through account management for business growth & achieve high degree of client satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver the category business plan, including the financial KPIs of sales, margins and costs.
- Responsible for profitability, driving high margin business, collections & cash flow.
- Responsible for cost optimization.
- Driving innovative strategies for branding & selling of high value product solutions and services to end customers.
- Responsible for achieving assigned target from revenue as well as profitability point of view.
- Responsible for providing business & revenue forecast quarter- on-quarter.
- Identifying new business opportunities directly or through team.
- Authorizes the distribution of targets and achievements within the team.
- Work in collaboration with other business unit heads and functional heads.
- Responsible to participate in all corporate initiatives as required.
- Is the face of the company to the external world in articulating company strategy and company vision.
- Instrumental in contributing quality information on market intelligence, key market drivers & industry competition.
- Customer Management
- Build and manage partner/vendor relationships.
- Responsible for managing customer escalations, customer problems, account conflicts and participate in important negotiations with key customers.
- People Management & Development
- Enable competency development and capability building within the Organization.
- Responsible for manpower planning, selecting and retaining competitive manpower.
- Responsible for performance management of the team.
- Responsible for encouraging a culture of rewards & recognition hence fostering better employee engagement & employee motivation
- Responsible to imbibe organization's culture & vision amongst the team members.
