Job Description
The Operations Project Manager is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between Client and the Paragon delivery team, ensuring that supported accounts are receiving committed services on time and with high quality. This position is responsible for leading efforts to work with the State Street HCL delivery team and the Investment Banking teams to scope, implement and execute against the account teams needs, and ensure stability and satisfaction on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
Onboarding :
- Working with the account teams, scope and define needs and business requirements
- Coordinate with State Street delivery team and Client to successfully onboard new tasks
- Own the process documentation associated with onboarding new account tasks
- Manage proper integration of the Paragon delivery team, with a particular emphasis on balancing utilization and efficiency goals
- Handle the entire PMO office
Standardization :
- Drive standardization and efficiency initiatives across all accounts, with the goal of increasing scalability and adoption of similar tasks across accounts
- Proactively identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement/standardization to both increase scalability and error-proof tasks to mitigate the potential for issues
Expansion:
- Work with Client operations team to help evangelize successes and expand into new accounts.
- Identify areas to expand the breadth of the engagement to meet specific needs of the business and deliver value to the account teams
- Proactively identify and develop non-existent processes to increase efficiency
Support/Maintain:
Serve as first point of contact for escalation between HCL and State Street if there is an issue
- Work with Client to keep IT/HR systems updated and maintained with the current staffing plan.
- Update any process or other documentation to align with the current state of the account programs
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to understand and leverage technology to solve business challenges
- Adept at managing client expectations as it relates to scope and delivery of service
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others to meet common goals
- Experience with process documentation high attention to detail
Profile:
- 7 to14 yrs with relevant experience/exposure in Investment Banking or Investment Services operations
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- A highly motivated and pro-active self- starter
- Strong leadership qualities coupled with Client interfacing skills
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Should have knowledge in Visio and MS Project
- Good Excel skills
