Job Description:

- As a Member of Apex Quality consulting group, Quality consultant will help define process transformation assignment and drive process improvement initiatives and productivity improvement in customer organization.

- The consultant will provide Quality consultancy services to HCL’s clients. Most of the assignments involve significant onsite travel.

- The role involves program management, project management, process definition, estimation, process training, and client project handholding, participate in process improvements.

General Abilities:

- Should have good client facing abilities.

- Solution Mindset.

- Should have good client presentation and client management skills.

- Good knowledge of Software Engineering, QC Techniques, Development methodologies, SPC techniques and Metrics Management

- Good exposure to project management, Tools used in software development and process management(process mapping - Visio, Configuration mgmt tools, Defect tracking tools, MS Project etc)

- Consulting exposure.

- Ability to conduct training on process related areas.

Expertise expected in: some of these areas

- Agile, CMMI v1.1, Six Sigma, Lean, ITIL, SDLC/Agile techniques, Metrics and project management.

- SPICE, FDA, ISO 15504, ISO 13485, AS9100, DO254 exposure is an added advantage.

- Should have ability of configuring solutions based on customer needs. Highly dynamic and proactive

Location: Openings are available at Bangalore or Chennai.

- Role involves traveling across the Globe (USA, Europe, Asia Pacific etc.) and can be located onsite on long term assignments.
