About The Team:

An innovative horizontal team in HCL with a record of growth and forward looking propositions is seeking a team lead for its Pre Sales Solutions team. This is a high visibility role that will require a very energetic and dynamic person who is equally at home with the latest in technology as well as business. The position will be based out of Bangalore.

You are the ideal candidate:

- If you are a people magician who has a proven record of working across delivery, sales and consulting teams to make large global deals happen

- If you are a determined juggler who can prioritize and handle a multitude of demands from a variety of sources

- If you have led a team that handles a broad cross section of business and technical requirements that cut across the sales cycle

- If you have interfaced with blue chip customers either as a sales, presales or delivery leader and collaborated with them on innovative propositions

- If you have the ability to inspire the team to continuously deliver at very high standards despite compressed time cycles

Experience Requirements

- Excellent understanding of IT delivery models and pricing models

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills

- Strong structured problem solving and insight development skills

- Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual, global environment

- Excellent attention to detail and high capacity to take calculated risks

- Program management and stakeholder management

Technical skills

- Knowledge on Application Development technologies and hands on experience in any of technologies i.e. Java, .NET, Enterprise Applications like SAP, Oracle.

- Awareness and experience in any of integration and BPM technologies

- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles

- Knowledge of pace layered architectures

- Knowledge of Systems of innovations and clear understanding of how new developments in Cloud, Mobility, UI/UX, Social technologies are changing enterprise IT

- Developed propositions and go-to-market strategies for innovative ideas

Basic Qualifications

- Have at least 10+ years’ experience overall in IT industry, preferably IT services

- BE/BTECH and an MBA from a premier institute or an equivalent record of performing at the level required for this role

- Excellent communications and presentation skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)

- Managed a team of at least 8-10 people in a Global Pre-Sales Solutions role in an IT Services environment

- 3+ years of managing a diverse pre-sales solutions or a services marketing team

Other Requirements

- Regular travel – both global and local, will be required, in order to satisfy the requirements of the role

- The global role comes with the stated requirement of extended hours outside of normal India business hours. The individual will be required to stretch to accommodate calls and customer meeting requests in other time zones
