hBits - Chief Technology Officer/Vice President - Engineering

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cofounders to guide strategic direction of product and company

- Responsible for entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment

- Build out user experience, design, development and QA capabilities through a combination of hiring and outsourcing to vendors

- Establish the initial architecture for the application will include database design and cloud infrastructure

- Estimate development release cycle and manage the release process

- Implement scrum based development cycles

Required Qualifications:
 
- 4+ years experience in full-stack development, ideally in a team lead or engineering lead role

- Excellent front end and back-end proficiency

- DevOps expertise, including ability to competently and independently manage release cycles, and comfort with actively managing and optimising AWS instances and the overall cloud architecture
