Location: Gurgaon Onsite

The Role:

- As the MIS - FP&A, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust management information systems to support the financial planning and analysis processes.

- You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including the Finance team, department heads, and senior management, to provide accurate and timely financial data, insightful reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that will aid in decision-making and drive business performance.

- The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in MIS within the financial services industry, ideally from prominent firms like FY, PWC, etc.

Responsibilities:

Design and Implement Management Information Systems:

- Develop and implement efficient MIS frameworks and systems to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting.

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all MIS processes.

- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Financial Planning & Analysis Support:

- Collaborate with the FP&A team to understand reporting requirements and design customized reports that provide valuable insights into financial performance, trends, and forecasts.

- Prepare periodic financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.

- Conduct variance analysis between actual performance and budget/forecast, identifying root causes and proposing actionable solutions.

Data Analytics and Insights:

- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze financial data and uncover meaningful patterns and trends.

- Present actionable insights to the CFO and senior management to facilitate strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Management:

- Build strong relationships with various stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide prompt support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Process Improvement:

- Continuously identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions to optimize data management and reporting processes.

- Implement best practices and industry standards in MIS to enhance the overall effectiveness of the FP&A function.

Skills and requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MIS, preferably within the financial services industry, with exposure to media agencies being a plus.

- Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes and principles.

- Proficient in data management, database systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
