Hatti Kaapi - Chief Operating Officer

- Previous working experience as COO for (3+) years

- Master in Business Administration or similar relevant field

- In-depth knowledge of different business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.

- Hands-on-experience in fundraising, strategic planning and business development

- Good knowledge of data analysis and KPIs.

- Familiarity in IT/Business infrastructure/ERP.

- Take the lead in expansion activities/ODC(Outdoor Catering/Coffee Services).

- Maintain relationships with partners and vendors(PR).

- Ensure menu and food development are of a high quality, oversee the recruitment of catering staff and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.

- To represent Hatti Kaapi in Events/Conferences, Media and other press releases.

- To create content for Newsletters or Blogs.

Providing Solutions & Problem Solving skills:

Restaurant, hospitality, food and beverage COOs need problem-solving skills. For example, when the Outlet experiences a sudden decline in the number of customers, the COO can use these skills to identify ways to improve the facility's hospitality, such as organizing training programs for employees to enhance their competence. These COOs also need superior leadership abilities to create productive workplace environments and interpersonal skills to maintain professional relations with vendors, workers and customers.

Overseeing Recruitment:

Chief operating officers responsible for hospitality, food and beverage manage the Hatti Kaapi's staffing needs and oversee recruitment drives, often conducting interviews to identify and select competent chefs, head cooks, food service managers, bakers, patrons and beverage serving workers. These COOs also draw and review job descriptions, delegate duties, conduct performance evaluations and recommend or implement promotions and demotions.

Ensuring Compliance:

To conduct periodic inspections to ensure all staff maintain good hygiene and chefs and servers wear gloves when handling food. The chief operating officer also attend relevant conferences and read industry publications to stay abreast with the latest hospitality, food and beverage trends.
