We are specialized in providing back-office solutions to India subsidiaries of MNCs, Corporates and startups in India in the areas of Accounting and Reporting, Tax & Regulatory compliance, Payroll and Secretarial Matters. A) Key Responsibilities: a) General : Oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions. Verify the work carried out by the team in the areas of accounting and financial statements, including entries in software packages. Reviews would include the accuracy of information and calculations, apart from the timeliness of completion. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Provide executive management with reporting and advice on the financial implications of business activities. Assisting in formulating policies & procedures. b) Payments and Cashflow Management : Responsible for all the payments from the company to third parties and employees including salaries, incentives, expenses etc. Responsible to manage the cash flow and supervise all the financial transactions of the company. Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow businesses to operate effectively. c) Accounts Reconciliation : Responsible for reconciliation of High-risk accounts of Receivables & Payables on monthly basis & obtaining Confirmations. d) Monthly MIS Reporting : Month-end book closing, preparing monthly MIS reporting, MTD and YTD P&L, working capital reports & circulation of MIS to senior management as per defined timeline along with summary comments with respect to variance analysis. Input data to Management as per the requirements. e) Planning and Budgeting : Preparing in-depth budget and associated analysis of variable, fixed and indirect overheads, identifying areas of probable cost reductions, comparison of budget vis- vis actuals, etc. f) Internal Controls & Due Diligence : Focus on the creation and maintenance of internal controls, continuous process improvement and efficient and effective operation of all financial activities. Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities. Prepare documents for DD & make slide decks for major observations. Answer queries pertaining to DD g) Statutory Compliance : Ensuring all tax and regulatory compliances are fulfilled. GST - Ensuring and supervising all the returns of GST. Filing yearly Income tax returns and ensuring TDS returns are filed on time, etc. h) Annual Audit Coordination : Preparation of financial statements, notes to accounts, audit documents, etc., coordinating with Statutory and Tax Auditors for audit requirements including finalising procedures for audit and ensuring timely sign-off. B) Skills / Competencies : - Leadership, Team Player and Problem Solver - Good Communication and Interpersonal skills - Strong Analytical Skills - Mathematical proficiency and attention to detail - Planning and Organization, Commitment to meet timelines - Technological skills, highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT, etc.) - Self Starter and ability to work independently - High Ownership Level C) Work Location: Churchgate, Mumbai D) Qualification: Commerce Graduate with CA or MBA in Finance E) Work Experience: 7+ years with a preference for experience in Financial Management and/or working for a Start-up F) CTC - in the range of Rs.15 lacs to Rs.20 lacs basis the candidature G) Immediate Joiners and experience with global firms preferred
