This is a critical position that will design, own and monitor all regulatory and compliance protocols for the entire organization as we foray into the Financial services segment as part of our Yojana card and Financial inclusion strategy. You will work closely with the leadership and cross-functional teams to drive, design and implement appropriate Financial Services compliances.

Policy Development and Implementation:

- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures specific to banking products and services including Cards, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements

- Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry guidelines related to banking cards and adjust policies accordingly

Card Compliance Oversight:

- Oversee all business operations relating to banking card compliance, including card issuance, processing, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution

- Ensure compliance with payment card network rules and regulations (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Rupay)

Risk Management and Control Systems:

- Design and monitor control systems to detect and prevent violations of legal rules, regulatory requirements, and internal policies related to banking products/ services

- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies

Regulatory Reporting and Audits:

- Prepare and submit regulatory reports related to banking products/ services, ensuring accuracy and timelines

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate compliance audits and address findings

Training and Awareness:

- Lead training sessions for employees involved in banking products/ services related functions to ensure understanding of compliance requirements and best practices

- Foster a culture of compliance awareness and accountability within the organization

Stakeholder Communication:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for banking products/ services compliance-related inquiries from internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and card networks

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, tech, legal, risk management, and operations, to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions
