Job Description:
- Develop complete understanding of wider category, market & consumer segments and our products- role to play in the same
- Develop Product & Category expertise to understand opportunities and fill them
- Develop product roadmap for your Brand/Category in line with company objectives
- Lead development of Product Packaging, E-Commerce Assets, POSM and Sales Enablers
- Lead Brand positioning & marketing execution for your category/product mix
- Create product marketing plans across all digital channels, brand content creation.
- Understand product traction within consumers/trade & create plans to improve both
- Assist Sales Teams to build Category/Product/brand relevance with Key Accounts
- Monitor Category & Competition developments and develop strategies and tactics to reduce the threat
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of marketing, sales, or product/category management experience
- Tech savvy and passionate about building product stories and positioning
- Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to drive decision-making
- Ability to process data into actionable insights
- Ability to establish brand credentials with top Key Accounts, trade and consumers
- Excellent people skills to interact with cross-functional teams, peers and third parties
- Subject matter expert/industry experience a strong plus
- Ability to work in unstructured environment and creating processes to streamline projects
Reporting: The candidate would report to the Head of Marketing & Brand Strategy, based out of company HO in Bangalore
