Job Responsibilities  - Sector Research, Data mining and analysis  - Assist in preparation of pitch books for presentation  - Prepare sector books, company profiles and assist in analysis of trends in sectors for M&A advisory transactions   - Analyse financial statements of company  - Cash flow models, SOTP analysis, Comparable analysis  Required Professional Competencies  - Keen interest in the Business environment, markets and financial performance of companies  - Very strong analytical and quantitative skills  - Strong writing and communication skills  - Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint  - Proficiency with databases like Capital IQ, FactSet, Factiva, Thomson, SNL, Intierra  Desired Personal Qualities  - High level of attention to detail and quality  - Ability to multi-task, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment  - Demonstrate a high level of commitment and accountability  - Ability to work effectively with senior professionals in an engagement team  You will be supporting the London and Hong Kong offices of this merchant bank which has some of the biggest names in London IB associated with it.
